Donald will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Donald is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Donald’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He is survived by: his wife Joell Meinders; and his children, Deb Pressley (Randy), Diane Larson (Bob), Denise Reuther (Jason), Doyle Hansen and Doug Hansen (Erin). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Valley Hospice or St. Croix Hospice, whose compassionate caregivers are truly "angels on earth".
