He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Erusha and Louise Erusha (Jebousek); his wife Patricia J. Olsen; his daughter Kay Linsey; his granddaughter Amber Linsey; and his sister Angeline Anderson.

He is survived by: his grandson Cory Linsey (Megan) of St. Charles; and his great grandchild River Linsey of St. Charles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the church or the Don & Pat Erusha Endowed Football Scholarship Fund at UNI .

“To Don's Family, I knew Don throughout our years as UNI colleagues. We also had a unique relationship there: He and Pat brought their granddaughter to the UNI Speech and Hearing Clinic for some semesters. I happened to be assigned as her clinical supervisor; and so the Erushas and I developed a more personal relationship. When I retired as a professor, Don created a cartoon in my honor, which I still treasure! In sincere sympathy, Judith Harrington”
