Ernest C. Elzey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Ernest C. Elzey of Cedar Falls, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Cecil Elzey and Louise Marie Elzey (Peterson); his wife Karen Janeen Kane (Jurgersen); his sister Rebecca; his brother-in-law Archie Mangold; and his nephew Archie Mangold.
He is survived by: his brothers, Paul Elzey (Ruth) of Sully, IA and John Elzey (Margaret) of Cornell, IL; and his stepchildren, Kendall Kane (Heather) of Jesup, IA and Kayla Bresson (Craig) of Waterloo, IA. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the White Funeral Home (1315 Main St, Jesup, IA 50648). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Lawn Cemetery (3002 N Ct St, Ottumwa, IA 52501).
Memorials will be directed to Zion Lutheran Church – Jubilee, rural La Porte City and to the Cedar Valley Hospice House in Waterloo.
