With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flo Slawson (Cedar Falls, Iowa), born in Ada, Minnesota, who passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Flo Slawson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewie Visser and Evelyn Visser (Batey); her husband Harold Slawson; and her children, Dee Peterson and John Slawson.

She is survived by : her children, Kelly Slawson (Cathy) of Minneapolis, MN and Jane Stout (Chris) of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Kyle, Connor Slawson, Lucas, Nicole Stout, Stacey Peterson and Sara Groen; and her great grandchildren, Andrew and Elizabeth Groen.

Memorials may be directed to any of her favorite charities: Christian Crusaders, Nazareth Lutheran Church, Special Olympics, or the Salvation Army.
