We bid farewell to Grace Berends of Cedar Falls, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 29, 2025 at the age of 104. Grace touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Eckhoff and Hattie Eckhoff (Dreesman); her husband Peter Berends; her children, Marvin, Jerald and Mavis; and her siblings, Harlon (Ella) and Mary Ann (Leland).
She is survived by: her granddaughter Kim Mays (Matt); and her great grandchild Lance of Carol Stream, IL..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home & Cremation Service (1825 W 12th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Heights Community Presbyterian Church (2015 Rainbow Dr, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
