He is survived by: his father Wendell Dietz; his children, Casey Dietz (Britne) of Ankeny and Heidi Bellos of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Blake Hite, Brooke Bellos, Camryn Dietz and Ethan Dietz; his mother Anneliese Brooks (Ohrlein) of Cedar Falls; and his siblings, Don of Waterloo, Greg Dietz (Cathie Schaefer) of Waterloo and Wendy Runkle (Harold) of Janesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
