He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jacobson and Vernetta Jacobson (Hanson); his siblings, Arlene Laughlin, Donald and Robert Jacobson; and his grandson David Jacobson.
He is survived by: his sons, Jon Jacobson (Tami) of Las Vegas, NV and Scott Jacobson of Cedar Falls; and his granddaughter Jennifer McDonald (Matt) of Waterloo. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home (1825 W 12th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Larsen Chapel at Nazareth Lutheran Church (7401 University Ave, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
