It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joanne Jermier (Cedar Falls, Iowa), who passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Loye and Marian Loye; her siblings, Jean Groesbeck, Dale Groesbeck, Mel (Dorothy Shahan), Earl (Kay Zanger), Don Jermier and Mike (Sharon Jermier); and her great grandchild Maeve Congrove.
She is survived by: her sister Judy Courtney (Tom) of McKinney, TX; her children, Sara Congrove (Tim) of Lake Quivira, KS, John of Cape Coral, FL, Jim (Wendy) of Cedar Falls, IA and Steve Jermier (Lyndsy) of Norwalk, IA; her daughter-in-law Sue Jermier of Cape Coral, FL; her grandchildren, Spencer, Zack, Chase, Maggie Congrove, Tyler, Hunter, Colton, River, Riley, Ryan, Allison and Sam Jermier; Jerry and Geraldine Martinson. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Service (615 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Patrick Catholic Church (705 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Saint Patrick's Catholic Church or the UNI Foundation (for the nursing scholarship being established in Joanne's name).
