He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel Bigler and Lloyd Bigler; his wife Mavis Soeder; his daughter Lori McDermott; his son-in-law Tim McDermott; and his great grandchild Drake Bigler.
He is survived by: his children, Mark of Davenport, Matthew (Kimberly) of Cedar Falls and Lisa Rupiper (Russell) of Omaha; his brother Michael (Melanie) of Euless; and his grandchildren, Brad Bigler (Heather) of Marshall, MN, Julie Walker (Jeremy) of Nashville, TN, Alec, Adam McDermott of Omaha, Lauren Artzner (Andy) of Folsom, CA, Megan Sitzmann (Adam) of Omaha, Quinn Bigler of Janesville and Annie Bigler of Waterloo. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Global Methodist Church (1201 230th St, Waverly, IA 50677). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
