She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Hooker and Esther Hooker (Hanson); her husband Paul Kohl; her daughter Linda Bartling; and her sister Joan Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Kohl (Sara) of Denver and Susan Rostad (Bill) of Waynesville, Missouri; her brother John Hooker (Carolyn) of Carbondale, Illinois; and her son-in-law Tab Bartling of Indianola, Iowa.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
