She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Hooker and Esther Hooker (Hanson); her daughter Linda Bartling; and her sister Joan Olson. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Kohl (Sara) and Susan Rostad (Bill) of Waynesville, Missouri; her brother John Hooker (Carolyn) of Carbondale, Illinois; and her son-in-law Tab Bartling of Indianola, Iowa.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (2812 Willow Ln, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memories Cemetery (3669 Logan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703).
