He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schlamp and Sylvia Schlamp (Christiansen); and his siblings, Dick Schlamp and Pat Brinkman. He is survived by: his wife Marlys Schlamp; his sons, Jon Schlamp (Laura) and Travis Schlamp; his grandchildren, Sam Schlamp and Grace Kucera (Wyatt); his great grandchild Dawson Schlamp; his sisters, Mary Gerloff (Lee Roy) and Barbara Harper (Mike); and his pet Missy.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dahl-Van Hove Schoof Funeral Home (1825 W 12th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to his family.
