He is survived by: his wife Colleen Hayes of Jesup; his children, Shawn Hayes (Michael Ruby) of Evergreen, Colorado and Brian Hayes (Kendra) of Cedar Falls; his granddaughter Autumn Weiland (William); his great grandchildren, Olive and Yhani of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Kaydence Hayes of Cedar Falls and Colin Hayes of Decorah; and his siblings, Gregg Hayes (Toni) of San Antonio, Texas, Roger Hayes (Sue) of Cedar Rapids, Joe Hayes (Chris) of Marshalltown and Dian Ferneau (Glen) of Marshalltown. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
