He was predeceased by: his parents, Murle Dietz Sr. and Louise Bentley Dietz; his wife Cindy; and his son Christopher Dietz. He is survived by: his children, Curtis Dietz of Cedar Falls and Michelle Dietz-Merry (Steve) of Cedar Falls; his stepgrandchildren, Keenan Merry of Myrtle Beach, SC and Kayla Merry of Boston, MA; and his brother Harold Dietz (Jacky) of Austin, MN.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hammond Avenue Brethren Church (1604 Hammond Ave, Waterloo, IA 50702). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hammond Ave Brethren Church (1604 Hammond Ave, Waterloo, IA 50702).
