She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Grimmius and Emma Grimmius (Pabst); and her brother Gene Grimmius. She is survived by: her children, Curtis Mackie (Debra), Jay Mackie (Kathy), Karla Joerger (John) and Chad Mackie (Rachel); her grandchildren, Alicia Fryslie (Levi), Christine Nanke (Brandon), Nickolas Mackie (Kelsie), Michelle Kennedy, Wesley Mackie (Quinn), Kyle Mackie (Catarina), Jared Joerger (Alea), Adam Joerger (Alyson), Jacob Joerger (Mackenzie), Zachary Mackie (Lexi Sady) and Mackenzie Moore (Nicholas); her sister-in-law Cindy Grimmius; and her niece Jennifer Grimmius. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family with the proceeds to be distributed to the Grundy County Memorial Hospital and Cedar Valley Hospice.
