She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harvey and Allece Sophia Johnson (Wohlsdorf); her husband George Jenson; her stepfather Henry Grosso; her brother James Robert Johnson; her grandson Ryan Christopher Helling; her stepson Gregory; her stepgranddaughter Zhenya; and her brother-in-law Donald.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Helling (Randy) of Rochester, MN and Jeff Ohrt (Lisa) of Parkersburg; and her stepchildren, Leigh Anne Schares (Dale) of Gilbertville, Dan Jenson (Larisa) of Bellevue, NE and Russ Jenson of Waterloo. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM and on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Worship Center at Nazareth Lutheran Church of Cedar Falls (7401 University Ave Door 1, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
Memorials may be directed to Nazareth Lutheran or the Allen College School of Nursing Scholarship Fund.
