She was predeceased by: her parents, Gary Abernathy and Dorothy Abernathy (Bishop). She is survived by: her husband Keith Johns of Cedar Falls; her son Chris Johns (Jennifer) of Evansdale; her grandson Tyler Johns (Samm Swope) of Cedar Falls; and her sister Lori Abernathy of Cedar Falls.
