He was predeceased by: his parents, George Beahr and Eleanora "Nora" Beahr (Boleyn); and his sister Kathy Marie Waters. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Beahr of Cedar Falls; his sons, Rich Beahr (Beverly) and Brent Beahr (Stacy) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Sheena (Brittin), Chelsea, Megan, Tristin, Dalton and Bea; and his brother Ronald Beahr (Linda) of Des Moines. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
