He is survived by: his wife Martha Louise Carlson of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Julia Marie, David Canney (Cyndi) of Waverly and Julie Sorensen (Dwight) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Isabella Canney of Waverly, Blake Sorensen (Aimee) of Denver, Brandon Sorensen (Kelsey) of Iowa City, Brock Sorensen (Lindsey) of West Union and Brenna Busch (Andrew) of Tripoli; his great grandchildren, Ryker, Saylor, Walker Sorensen, Sienna, Porter Sorensen and Adalyn Busch; his sister Charlotte McHone (Dave) of Ankeny; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Leonard of Georgetown, TX and Marie Huggins of Maxwell.
