He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Minikus and Annette Minikus (Christensen); and his son Brent. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his sons, Michael of Holland and Steve (Dianna) of Denver; his grandsons, Jared Minikus and Cody Austin; his siblings, Nancy Heiserman of Bloomfield, Sandra Goings of Minong, Debra Niedert of Evansdale, Dennis Minikus and David Minikus (Renae) of Cedar Falls; and his sister-in-law Judy Lloyd (Jerry) of Hooper, Utah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Family for future designation.
