He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mikeska and Beatrice Mikeska (Bush); his siblings, William, John "Jack", Gilbert Mikeska and Eleanor TeGantvort; and his daughter Tina Thern.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Mikeska (Soltis) of Cedar Falls; his daughters, Marlinda Rundle of Blaine, MN, Dorane Mikeska of Fridley, MN and Tammy Reynolds of Franklin, NC; his stepson Jeffrey Larson (Sherri) of Wimauma, FL; his grandchildren, Ryan Rundle, Robert Thern and Ashley Morris; his stepgrandchildren, Paige Larson and Tori Strub (Larson); his great grandchildren, Jaycie, Riley, Damian, Lily, Piper Rundle, Gavin, Sophia and Everette Morris; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Oliver and Ember Strub; and his sister-in-law Lori Mikeska. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
