He is survived by: his children, Chad Potratz (Kristena) of Cedar Falls, Kara Scott (Mark) of Chaska, MN and Shane Potratz of Story City; his grandchildren, Savannah (Bradley), Bethany (Blake), Rebekah (Jack), Jackson, Ellie, Joe, Mercy and Zeke; his great grandchildren, Henry, Jeffrey and Theodore; his siblings, Laurel Eickhoff of Independence, MO, Loyce Oelrich of Fayette, IA and Russell Potratz (Glenda) of Gilbertville; and his close friend Betty Balkenende. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to causes close to Bob's heart.
