With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sally Jean Linhart (Cedar Falls, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Kemp and Dorothy Kemp (Hansen); her brother Jon Roger Kemp; and her brother-in-law Milferd Kelley (Bud). She is survived by: her husband Charles Linhart of Cedar Falls; her children, Angela Nelson Ackerman (Devlin) of Des Moines and William Nelson (Patricia) of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Clayton Ackerman (Summer VanVeen) of Rock Valley, IA, Nicole Much (Tyler) of Bingen, WA, Michael Nelson (Alexa Rickman) of Lee's Summit, MO and Nicholas Nelson (Shannon) of Cedar Falls; her sister Sandra Kelley of Galena, MO; and her sister-in-law Leanne Kemp of Ironton, MN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
