She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Manzo and Elizabeth "Betty" Eagan; her husband Roger Messingham; and her siblings, Pat Nielsen, Mary Frances, Mark Hilton and Dan Zubak of Lake Placid.
She is survived by: her children, Spirit Messingham of Tucson, Arizona and Kim Williams (Dan) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Sydney Williams of Cedar Rapids and Keaton Williams of Iowa City; her siblings, Susan Kemp (Joe) of Cedar Falls, Nick (Cindy), Ann Wood (Chip) of Waterloo, Samantha Zubak of Denver, Tracy Zubak (Rene) of Bollingsbrook, David Zubak (Maria) of Wyoming, Patty Hering of Nebraska and Annette Gisi of California; her siblings-in-law, Marlys Messingham of Evansdale, Melody Cummings of Waterloo and Marshall Nielsen of Cedar Falls; and her nieces and nephews, Shawn Jordan (Maureen), Anna Nielsen, Kris Jordan, Sam Nielsen (Christine), Angela Hilton, Nick Remler, Stacie, Wagner, Jeremy Smoot, Lindsay Averill (Casey), Dennis, Courtney Messingham, David Frederick, Clinton, Garrett Cummings, Elizabeth Frederick, Brendan Wood and Madison Wood (Nealon).
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (705 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
