Stephen Wayne Taylor Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Wayne Taylor (Cedar Falls, Iowa), who passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Taylor and Thelma Taylor (Short); and his siblings, Kenny Taylor and Carol Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kruse; his sons, Derek Taylor (Reagan) of Johnston, IA and Brandon Taylor (Amy) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Miles, Everett Taylor, Janaya, Kaitlyn Nielsen and Michael Harper; his nephew Alex Taylor; his niece Jessica Taylor; and his sisters, Judy Toepfer of Waterloo and Joyce Taylor of Ottumwa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
