He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Fitkin and Mabel Fitkin (Dutcher); his wife Maxine Lehmkuhl; his son Steve; his grandson Elliott; and his brother Richard Fitkin.
He is survived by: his children, David (Cindy) of Anamosa, Susan Cook (Joe) of Cedar Falls and Jim (Debbie) of Cedar Falls; and his brother Virgil Fitkin (Queenie). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to First United Methodist Church.
