He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Laura Baker (Doug) of Hamilton, Pati McConeghey (James) of Minneapolis and Jonathan Wood (Christianne) of League City, Texas; his grandchildren, William, Matthew Baker, Cecilia McConeghey, Savanna and Sean Wood; his sisters-in-law, Marcella Wood of Hickory and Barbara Watkins of Raleigh; and his nieces, Robynn and Ashely.
