He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hooper (Follett) of Cedar Rapids; his sons, Randy Hooper (Karen) of Colleyville and Barry Hooper (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids; his stepsons, Kenneth Brauer (Vikki) of Hudson and Paul E. Brauer of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Melissa Sipes (Justin) of Ottumwa, Matthew Hooper (Angie) of Marion, Sara Northrup (Jamie) of Marion, Tammy Brauer-Markham (Tom) of Cedar Rapids and Jeff Brauer of Fallon, Nevada; and his siblings, Charlene Hooper of East Leroy, Rogers Hooper (Bev) of North Falmouth and Avery Hooper of Bali. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
