He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood August and Ina Blanche Armbrecht (Yetley); his wife Dolores F. Boyles; and his brother Delbert. He is survived by: his children, DeWayne of Cedar Rapids and Diane Fleege (Dennis) of Cedar Rapids; his brother Larry (Debbie) of Cedar Rapids; and his grandchildren, Deanna, Dennis and Dixie. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
