With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Amy Denise Jabens of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Amy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Amy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Larry McNabb; and her mother-in-law Ann Marie Kerkman. She is survived by: her mother Deanna McNabb (Otto) of Cedar Rapids; her husband Dan Jabens of Cedar Rapids; her children, Clay Jabens (Dayrelis) of Hyattsville, Kayla Jabens of Orlando and Carly Jabens of Cedar Rapids; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Jabens of Cedar Rapids and Kurt Kerkman (Angie) of Vinton. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial science scholarship fund to be established in Amy's honor.
