We announce the death of Andrew Becker of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 46. Andrew will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his mother Suzanne Revers of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Janaha Cook (Mitch) of Ely and Dawson Revers (Rhiannan) of Anchorage, Alaska; his nieces, Aubrianna and Scarlet Cook; his grandparents, Duane K. and Charlotte Holst of Keystone, Iowa; his aunts, Cindy Kelley (Mike) of St. Louis, Angie Hagan (Steve) of Keystone and Diana Buscher (Bill) of Fairfax; his cousins, Haley Schulte, Anber Dielschneider (Tanner), Karly Reilly (Andrew), Alana Hagen, Zach Buscher, Ethan Buscher, Sierra Buscher and Tim Kelley; and his close friend Mason Hamann. He is also survived by his grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-great grandparent.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Radiant Church (3233 Blairs Ferry Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, guests are invited to bring a small Christmas ornament, new of gently used, to place on an "Andy Tree" at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the "Andy Day" Human Services Scholarship at Kirkwood Community College, The Arc, of Camp Courageous.
