She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Cress and Erma Cress; and her husbands, Vaughn Witherell and Doyle Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Debra McDonald (Roger) of Cedar Rapids and Gary Ellis (Amy) of Walford; her stepson Doyle Ellis (Louise) of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and her sister Marilyn Kolsrud of Shellsburg. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, who will designate a charity at a later date.
