We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2025, at the age of 75, Annette Olsen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Annette find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Mummert and Caroline Mummert (Cote); and her siblings, Lenore and Leo. She is survived by: her husband Mark Olsen; her children, Alice Snyder, LeAnn Olsen (Terry Jernberg), Nathan Olsen (Lindsay) and Tara George (Billy); and her brother Earl Mummert (Mary). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
