With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Boardman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on July 27, 2022 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arlene Boardman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ovid Tunks and Thelma Tunks (McQueen); her husband Everette Boardman; and her siblings, Lyle Tunks and Loma Mellem.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Pata (Dean), Kathy Usher (Mike) and Steven Boardman (Cathy); and her grandchildren, Aaron Pata (Sara), Nathan Pata (Missi), Becky Brown (Mike), Chris Usher (Letha), Brian Usher (Nicole), Kelly McNeese (Dominic) and Dan Boardman (Jillian). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Everette Boardman School Scholarship Fund at the Cedar Valley Christian School.
