Arlene Newman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Newman (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Agnes Braden and Russ Haufle; her sister Tina Irons; her nephew Russ Irons; her brother James Haufle; her sister-in-law Sherri Franks; her niece Laura Hart; and her brother Christopher Haufle.
She is survived by: her husband Cliff Newman; her children, Deb Newman, Jim Newman (Yolanda), Mike Newman (Sandra) and Jorunn Rønsen (Ola); and her grandchildren, Josh (Lacie), Noah (Natalie), Aaron (Kelsey), Eric (Karla), Braeden, Jacob and Fidel (Melissa). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Teahen Funeral Home (3100 F Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM, on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (120 5th St NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405).
