He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sr. Zastrow and Louise Zastrow (Koenig); and his siblings, Doris Rollings, Marion Mueller and Alvin Zastrow.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Mae Ernst; his daughters, Susan Sergent (Bret) of Pequot Lakes, Diane Stepanek (Bill Marberry) of Cedar Rapids and Debra Zastrow of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Michael Sergent and Katarina Wehde; his stepgrandson Matthew Sergent; his brother Melvin Zastrow (Shirley) of Buffalo City, Wisconsin; his sister-in-law Judy Zastrow of Buffalo City; and his caregiver Vicky.
