She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Graesser Sr. and Emilie Schoenfelder Graesser; her husband Frank Patik of Oskaloosa; her brothers, Edgar, William and Carl; and her son David.

She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa and Catherine (Cedar Rapids); and her brothers, Ivan (Marengo) and Robert (West Amana).

A memorial gathering was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 4420 220th Trail, Amana, IA 52203.
