She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mochal and Rose Mochal (Formanek); and her brother Wayne Mochal. She is survived by: her husband Leo Smejkal; her children, Lisa Palmer (Karl) and Scott Smejkal; her grandchildren, Lindsay West (Cody), Avery Palmer (Elaine Brandt) and Nikolas Palmer; her great grandchildren, Noah Palmer, Jayden and Hayden West; and her siblings-in-law, Elsie Mochal and Robert Smejkal (Marlene). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
