She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Birky and Helen Birky; her husband Edwin Joseph Tiernan; her stepfather John Swing; her parents-in-law, Earl and Regina Tiernan; her brothers, Richard Birky and Lowell; her siblings-in-law, Mary Jean Weede and Donald Tiernan; and her son-in-law Charles Janechek.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Janechek, Brian Tiernan (Holly), Michael Tiernan and Kimberly Sturm (Ted); her grandsons, Michael (Jennifer), Matthew (Miriam), Nathan and Nicholas Janechek (Emily Horak); and her great grandchildren, Jax, Mallory, Alice, Genevieve, Auden, Eliot and Nixly. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
