We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2022, Betty Ann Zitek (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Novotny and Emma Mildred Novotny (Potter); her husband Marvin D. Zitek; her son Rodney; her great grandchild Makaela Ness; and her brothers, Eugene, Harold and Kenneth.

She is survived by: her son Russell (Feby) of Casey; her daughter-in-law Linda; her grandchildren, Erin Pinter (Andy) and Kari Ness (Dan) of Cedar Rapids; her brother Donald Novotny (Delores) of Marion; and her sibling's children, Terry Novotny (Ann) and Karen Bonser. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Dementia Society of America, http://www.dementiasociety.org in Betty's name or to the family.
