Betty Hein Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Hein of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on October 28, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Lanning and Lorraine Lanning (Evans); her pet Betty; her husband Don; her sons, John of Orlando, FL and Robert (Amy) of Shoreview, MN; her sisters-in-law, Gerry Lanning of Cedar Rapids, Neva Lanning of Marion and Shirley Lanning of Alburnett; her siblings, LaVern, Harold, Richard Lanning and Juanita Miller; and her brother-in-law Leonard Miller. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Association for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or the Linn County Animal Humane Society.
