Betty Holmes Obituary

We bid farewell to Betty Holmes of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 28, 2025 at the age of 75. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Donisthorpe and Irene Donisthorpe; and her husband Lew Holmes. She is survived by: her children, Jenny Holmes, Jon Holmes (Jen Chesmore) and Chris Holmes (Brittany Holmes); and her grandchildren, Jordan Holmes, Raina Holmes, Ariana Chesmore, Elaina Chesmore, Izaak Holmes and Ian Holmes. She is also survived by many other extended family members and close friends.
