With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty R. Weston of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on January 10, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gorman Sylvester and Mabel Sylvester (Hardacre); her husband Don; and her brother Bob. She is survived by: her son Mike (Julia) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Ben (Leah), Tyler (Adisa) of Thornton, Zachary (Allie Penna) of Oceanside, Katie of Coralville and Mary of Coralville; her son Greg of Cedar Rapids; and her grandchildren, Derek of Iowa City, Sarah Cooksley (Tyler) of Cedar Rapids, Jared of Iowa City and Hannah Bousek (Robert) of Iowa City.
Donations in memory of Betty should be directed to The Salvation Army or a favorite charity.
