It is with sadness that the passing of Beverly Howard (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) is shared. Beverly, born on September 1, 1949, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Beverly will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Beverly by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Beverly is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Beverly’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Sage and John Sage; and her siblings, Rosemary and Butchy Sage. She is survived by: her husband Dwight Howard; her children, David Howard and Becky Howard; and her sisters, Connie Gerdes and Sue Welp (Jeff). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
