It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Jakubowsky of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Belfield, North Dakota, who passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jakubowsky and Catherine Jakubowsky (O'Bach); his siblings, Anton, Janice, Betty Andriash, Eva Brueni, Margie Fleckenstein and Frank Jakubowsky; and his brothers-in-law, John Schweitzer, Anton Fleckenstein, Bill Andriash, John Brueni and Ray Lipovac.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Haynes; his children, Dave (Tina), Bob, Janelle Hall, Judi Pries (Scott) and Joyce Oaks (Steve); his granddaughters, Taylor Pacheco (Juan), Kelsey and Marissa Pries; his children, Erin Wolcott (Stacy), Amber Menzer, Lauren, Emma and Sadie Oaks; his great grandchildren, Keaton, Kamden, Kylie Wolcott and William Cook; his siblings, John (Erma), Nick (Mary Ellen), Agatha Lipovac, Emily Schweitzer, Mary Colozzi (Phil) and Toni Heinert (Norman); and his brother-in-law Jim Haynes (Cherie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
