In loving memory of Bonnie L. Henson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who departed this world on July 2, 2025 at the age of 87. Bonnie leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry A. Harrington and Vader Henrietta Harrington (Reynolds); and her former husband Ellis "Bunyan" Henson, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John Gerlach; her daughters, Sandy Pagnotta (Geoff) and Tammie Dey (Swapan); her grandchildren, Geoffrey Pagnotta, Brandi Shailer (Mike), Tania Musliwala (Zulfikar "Zee") and Vic Dey; her great grandchildren, Isabelle, Sarah Shailer, Sophia and Alivia Musliwala; and her grandchildren, Kevin (Jennifer), George (Malinda), Michael (Suzanne), Terry (Patti), Chuck and Kathy Gerlach.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Papich-Kuba Funeral Home (1228 2nd St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
