He was predeceased by: his father Carroll Simpson; his sister Jordan White; and his son Lynn Simpson. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Simpson (Fabor); his wife Toni; his children, Traci Essary (Matthew), Greg Stone (D'Lynn), Michael Bailey and Justin Simpson; and his siblings, Dan Simpson and Tehri Goldsmith. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (375 32nd St Dr SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403).
