He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Elaine Bowie; his brother Charles "Allen" Blom; and his parents, Carl Blom and Lois Abrams Blom. He is survived by: his brother James Blom of Des Moines; and his siblings-in-law, John, Verna Bowie of Runnells and Tom Bowie of Newton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
