He was predeceased by: his wife Karin Manners Springfield; and his daughter Ann Marie Kleve. He is survived by: his son-in-law Robert "Bob" Kleve of Sioux City, IA; his stepchildren, Chris Plsek and Becky Plsek; and his siblings, Rose Sutherland and Carl Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
