She was predeceased by: her parents, George Heins and Lorene Heins (Elmer). She is survived by: her children, Lori Huelskamp, Lynn Olson (Jim), Leanne O'Brien (Jeff) and Larry Marting (Amie Bissonett); her grandchildren, Lexi Brockman (Bob), Daniel Huelskamp, Eryn Lemke (Johnny) and Emily Salvino (Conor); her great grandchildren, Gabrielle Lawson (Jeremy), Gage Brockman, Aidan Lemke and Caroline Lemke; and her siblings, Fred Heins (Bonnie) and Lorna Sterrett.

Memorials may be made in Carol's name to Monona Historical Society, MFL Ambulance or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
