He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Horne and Cecil F Horne; and his in-laws, Claire Thompson and Ada Thompson-Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Carol Thompson; his daughters, Terri Keeney (Brad) of Oklahoma and Steff Wilkinson (Jim) of Vinton; his grandchildren, Kassi Keeney of Colorado and Kyle Wilkinson of Vinton; and his siblings, Robert Horne (Gail) and Barb Kubovec (Frank) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and countless friends and neighbors.
Memorial donations can be made to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
